AURORA, Colo.—For much of last year, concern about the divisiveness of impeaching President Trump kept House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from supporting an inquiry, which she worried could imperil House Democrats who won Republican-held seats in 2018.
Now, as the third-ever impeachment trial enters its second week, one of those House Democrats from competitive districts, Colorado Rep. Jason Crow, has played a leading role in presenting the Democratic case to the GOP-controlled Senate.
