Get ready, animal lovers and action enthusiasts! OriginalFunko is bringing out the big guns for an R-rated CocaineBear Pop! and Mondo collectible poster, which readers can see first at Screen Rant:
Screen Rant is thrilled to announce the latest Funko collaboration with the hotly anticipated animal adventure film Cocaine Bear. Soon, fans will be able to enjoy a collection of Pop! dolls for the R-rated movie as well as a gorgeous screen printed Mondo poster. Despite not being out in theaters yet, Cocaine Bear has already garnered a passionate fanbase and plenty of social media buzz thanks to its outlandish premise and eye-grabbing trailer.
Based on a true story, Elizabeth Banks' newest directing effort follows an American black bear who unwittingly ingested an entire duffel bag of cocaine that belonged to drug smugglers. The plot may be controversial, but many top stars have thrown their weight behind it, as seen by the stellar cast that features Keri Russell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, O'Shea Jackson Jr., Alden Ehrenreich, Christian Convery, and Brooklynn Prince.
Dolly Ahluwalia, Funko's SVP of Licensing and Emerging Brands, shared why this collaboration was so special, explaining that, “At Funko, bringing to life IPs that celebrate a unique moment in pop culture is a huge part of our ethos. When we find these opportunities, we move quickly to bring products to our fans." Naturally, Cocaine Bear was the perfect avenue through which to do exactly that.
Stay tuned for a closer look at both the Pop! and the Mondo poster for Cocaine Bear in the coming days, as well as even more information about the exciting new collection.
