'There may never be a cure for cancer but we can't give up hope.'
A Co Derry duo are set to take to the skies to pay tribute to those in their family who have passed away due to cancer.
Speaking to MyDerry , Leanne explained how her father-in-law, Adrian, had been fundraising for Cancer Research UK for nearly two decades.Adrian, who is due to turn 60 this year, decided that he would take on the ultimate challenge by jumping out of a plane for charity through Skydive Wild Geese in Garvagh.
"We are all aware of the seriousness of cancer and the effect it has on many individuals today, and yet even though much scientific development has been undertaken, the fight is still not over. She continued: "It's the least that we could do considering the incredible effort that is being taken on across the UK by everyone fighting this disease and trying to find a cure for it. There may never be a cure for cancer but we can't give up hope.
