Members of the Whiteabbey By The Sea group will bring Santa and his elves to the village
A community group in a Co Antrim village has rallied together to make sure Santa and his elves can visit local children.
After getting a huge response, they're back again this year, and will be blasting Christmas music throughout the area while handing out selection boxes to children, setting off at 4pm on Christmas Eve.The community rallied together, with local businesses Sign Studio, Jane Dunn Hair Salon, Cherryvale Furniture and others chipping in to make sure the group could get more than 450 selection boxes to hand out on their travels.
Colin said the group get around each of the streets in Whiteabbey, stopping at the kerbside so children can get a bit of festive cheer delivered right to their house on Christmas Eve. He added: "We start at Abbeyville then onto Dillons Avenue. Then all the streets off the Glenville Road. We visit Cedar Court Fold too en route.
