The Chief Public Safety Director for the City of Cleveland resigned from his position on Friday, according to a city spokesperson.

City officials confirm they will be appointing Cleveland Police Chief Wayne Drummond to the role of Interim Public Safety Director. “We are confident that her leadership will set a course for success moving forward,” city officials said in a statement.
