The words of Matthew Binge, star of hit Youtube and TikTok channel Food Review Club when confronted with one of East Lancashire's gifts to humanity. He's referring to a timeless Lancashire delicacy, John Bull and scraps.
Once he had the beloved feast in his hands, Matthew's instant reaction was how hot the food was, as it had "burnt through" the polystyrene packaging. Once his fingers cooled down and he began to tuck in, his opinion continued to get more wholesome and enthusiastic with very bite. The big personality, who has amassed 657.3k followers on Tiktok and 95.7k subscribers on his Youtube channel, clocking up 413.k and 28k views on the respective social platforms to date, was clearly pleasantly surprised by the regional food, having "not expected to like it".
