City of San Antonio moves to protect historic HemisFair ‘68 building as officials contemplate future uses

Walls dividing the building into three sections could slide away, leaving one large audience staring at a 180-foot-wide screen. It was converted into a courthouse in the 1970s. “I love the exoskeleton and the bookmarked travertine on the back walls. That’s almost prettier than the glass walls in some ways,” Michael said. “I think that one’s arguably a more popular favorite than some of the others.”
