'All residents have a role in improving the environment in which they live'
MERCHANT City residents are being asked to join a litter pick to improve the condition of Glasgow city centre. is organising the event later this month as part of Keep Scotland Beautiful's month-long Spring Clean Scotland campaign.
Volunteers will be given t-shirts, equipment including litter grabbers and gloves, and bags which will be filled and left at agreed spots for Glasgow City Council staff to collect.Road closed for MONTHS after becoming unstable An MCTCC spokesperson said:"All residents have a role in improving the environment in which they live.
