Christmas chaos as sections of M6, M53, M56 and M57 begin to close over the week
National Highways will initiate repairs across stretches of the motorways for the coming week until Sunday, December 18. The closures are expected to cause severe delays for motorists that regularly use the stretch of road at a time when travel demands are likely at some of their highest due to the run-up to the Christmas period.
There will also be weekend closures overnight on the M6, M53, M57, and M56. Meanwhile, there will also be daytime closures on the M57 southbound between junctions one , as well as on the M56 eastbound between junctions 12 , and 14 , the Liverpool Echo reports.Read on to see the full dates and times for the closures expected this week on the M6, M53, M56, and M57.The M6 northbound between junctions 20 and 27 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.
