CHP looking for vehicle involved in Carlsbad hit-and-run crash [Breaking]
The California Highway Patrol is asking the public to help find an SUV, possibly a Jeep, involved in a hit-and-run crash in Carlsbad on Sunday, officials said.A 23-year-old from Los Angeles was driving a silver Nissan Sentra when a dark-colored SUV struck her car from behind, a CHP officer said. The Nissan overturned into the right shoulder of the freeway, and the SUV fled.Officers and paramedics helped the driver of the car, and she was taken to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
Officials said the vehicle that fled had a skull-and-bones tire cover. Anyone that has information about the collision was asked to call the Oceanside-area CHP office at 643-3400.
