: China and the United States are preparing to sign a truce in the damaging 18-month trade war but the deal will offer limited relief to Huawei following reports that the Trump Administration planned to impose new rules barring sales of foreign-made goods to the Chineses telecoms giant.

The report, citing sources familiar with the move, states that the Commerce Department recently sent new restrictions to the Office of Management and Budget to eliminate a loophole which allows U.S. firms to sell to Huawei from overseas locations.
