According to authorities, the young girl found a gun and accidentally discharged the weapon, striking herself in the forearm.
At approximately 1:18 a.m. in the 900 block of North Randolph, a 33-year-old man was standing on a sidewalk when a person in a passing vehicle shot him in the chest.
