He has had his fair share of injuries this season and recently missed England’s Euro 2024 qualifier against Ukraine. James remains highly thought of at Stamford Bridge and is probably one of the last names you would expect to see available for transfer.And according to Spanish outlet AS, Madrid are ‘interested’ in signing the England international.
The Spanish giants have ‘drawn up a list of possible reinforcements’, with James being ‘the first name on the list and the favourite of the Madrid staff’.Despite the club’s desire to sign a new right-back, Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham is their ‘priority’.The report discusses Chelsea’s spending under Todd Boehly and what that could mean for James.in order to balance the books.
