The cost of living crisis has hit many hard, with rising rent, bills and energy costs, disposable income has reduced significantly for Brits across the UK. But there is a way to save cash if remote working is an option for you, and that's by becoming what's known as a digital nomad.
Currently, there’s a Digital Nomad Rich List, researched and created by Flamingo App, which has revealed in which countries your money can go further. The app analysed the average cost of living in these digital nomad-friendly countries against the average full-time salary in the UK and US, unveiling Sri Lanka as the cheapest place to live as one.
The total disposable income for remote working Brits based on the UK salary of £2,773 per month. Since their data found the cost of living in Sri Lanka comes to just £492 per month, meaning Brits can save £2,282.
