Cure Leukamia chief executive James McLaughlin is lacing up his trainers for a gruelling challenge.
Cure Leukaemia chief executive James McLaughlin is aiming to complete 10 half marathons in 10 days in aid of blood cancer patients across the UK.
The network consists of centres in Belfast, Glasgow, Leeds, Newcastle, Bristol, Cardiff, Nottingham, Birmingham, Oxford, Southampton, Surrey and two in both London and Manchester. September is Blood Cancer Awareness month and James will run 14km around all 15 of the centres with the intention of raising £25,000.
“One person is diagnosed with blood cancer every 14 minutes in the UK so that is why I have decided to again run 14km for patients at each of the 15 blood cancer locations we fund as part of the TAP Network – so there is method to my madness," said James.
