Highs will hover near 80 degrees today, then fall to the upper 50s Sunday
Look for plentiful sunshine this morning and afternoon, then increasing clouds toward evening. Highs will soar to 80 degrees, which would tie the record high in Harrisburg. As a cold front approaches this evening, a stray shower is possible. Tonight, a few showers will pass through the Susquehanna Valley under mostly cloudy skies. Expect lows in the upper 50s. The cold front will linger just to our south Sunday. We'll see scattered showers, and highs over 20 degrees cooler than Saturday.
A stronger cold front will arrive Monday, bringing another round of showers, and highs in the upper 50s. Behind the front, colder air will surge in Tuesday. Highs will fall to the low 50s, and lows will dip into the 30s. There could be some showers developing for trick-or-treaters late, so stay tuned! We're watching low pressure, which will develop off the coast of Delmarva late Tuesday. If it stays closer to the coast, rain is in the cards Wednesday.
