Target employees in Chambersburg were sent home early Monday after a threat was made at the company’s distribution center, authorities said. Trooper Megan Ammerman said as of 1:15 p.m. Pennsylvania State Police are actively investigating at the distribution center, at 3001 Archer Drive. Details of who and what threat was made were not immediately available. Ammerman said the distribution center’s employees were sent home as a precaution.
