Two local state parks will hold job fairs this month for lifeguards
in Adams and Franklin counties will hold the fairs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 12.
The Codorus event will be held at the park office, 2600 Smith Station Road, Hanover. The Little Buffalo event will be held at that park office, 1579 State Park Road, Newport.will provide reimbursement to all lifeguards for the cost of the required certifications. The starting hourly rate is $14.04 an hour. Schedules are typically 37.5 hours a week, five days a week.
Caledonia said it is hoping “to fill at least another five to seven positions to operate in a semi-normal capacity for the 2022 season.”People interested but unable to attend can call the park offices to make appointments for another time - Little Buffalo 717-567-9255, Caledonia 717-352-2161 or Codorus 717-637-2816 orLittle Buffalo said it also can discuss other seasonal positions at the park including ranger and clerks.
