Celtic fan missing in Lanzarote last seen 'unconscious' outside pub as family issue fresh appeal
The family of a Celtic fan who vanished in the Canary Islands have discovered CCTV footage showing him lying 'unconscious' outside a bar doorway.
An update on the Find Gary Shearer online appeal page on Wednesday read: "The last confirmed sighting we have of Gary now is between around 11:30pm-12:30am outside of Bar67 where he was laying unconscious. There has been nothing since." He was last seen wearing a green and white Celtic football top, white shorts and white trainers. He is described as being just over 5ft 2 with grey/black hair and a slight limp. His loved ones continued: "We still have absolutely no idea where Gary could be. Despite all possible sightings people have given us, none of these have been Gary or have led to any information regarding Gary.
His sister Nikki, 51, told the Daily Record at the time her elderly parents haven't received support from Spanish police since they arrived. "We're really disappointed that the police don't seem to be doing more. They haven't even organised a family liaison officer to support my parents and to be honest they need support.
