There is a bus station at the end of the hill, and the roadway becomes a quick route to University Hospitals and the Cleveland Clinic. Claire Kohler, owner of CL Barber Salon on Cedar Road, was optimistic about the construction. She said she thinks that the city offers enough familiar routes for motorists to avoid construction.
On Thursday, Coventry Road in Cleveland Heights was set to re-open. Over the summer, drivers adjusted to the normal two-way street becoming a one-way from Fairhill Road to Euclid Heights Boulevard. Construction crews have completed the roadwork, and fresh lines will be painted on the roadway.
