Trade unions reject latest pay offer from Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council

Trade unions have rejected the latest pay offer from Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council. However NIPSA, GMB and Unite trade unions say it falls short of their local pay claim.

Lorraine Hartin from Nipsa said: "While council may regard this as a generous offer, it does not offer a consolidated incremental increase that will benefit staff going forward." "Without incremental increases, staff in Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council will remain at a financial detriment to their counterparts in councils that have already agreed and paid out increments and a cost of living payment." she said.
