Loose Women's Carol McGiffin has slammed the ITV broadcaster in the wake of the This Morning drama, describing the network as 'dysfunctional' and 'cut throat'
Loose Women legend Carol McGiffin has spoken out on the ongoing drama at ITV - describing the atmosphere of the "ITV Daytime Family" as “dysfunctional”.
“They go on about the ‘ITV Daytime Family’ being cosy best mates, all caring and kind, but in my opinion it’s about as dysfunctional as they come,” she wrote in her column for Best magazine. After being noticeably missing from the panel for two months earlier this year, Carol eventually revealed the reason for her absence. Speaking to Best magazine in May, the veteran presenter said the “stress” over upcoming contract negotiations that had been rumbling on since January.
