The Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department says a boy was hit and killed by a car that left the scene.LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Update, 11 a.m. : Northern Lancaster County Regional Police have released the identity of the driver in the case. Mikayla Victoria Mustard, 23, of Harrisburg, was the driver of the white Nissan Maxima that fatally struck and killed a 16-year-old Manheim boy on the 200 block of W. Sun Hill Road in Penn Township on May 2.
Officers say they were originally dispatched for a cardiac arrest, but a full investigation was launched when they arrived at the scene and found the boy dead. He allegedly was working on the side of the road when he was struck. Police have identified the driver and striking car, according to the NLCRPD. The department's Crash Reconstruction Team and the Criminal Investigations Unit are actively investigating the cause of the crash.
