Capcom says it will restore the ray tracing options in the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes on Steam, which mysteriously disappeared following a recent update.
The tweet also claimed that it would face issues with 3D audio also not appearing as an option. No time frame was given for the fix other than it would appear in a “future update.”on Resident Evil 3’s Steam page from last weekend, user DendeThe1st claimed that following an update to the game, the graphical option to enable ray tracing had been removed.
Soon after this, several other players appeared to confirm these reports, with user simone_the_one then saying that the problem was also affecting the Resident Evil 2 remake.While not as common, some other players reported that the HDR in both games is also not working correctly in some instances following the update.
