Where Dallas and Homer fit in didn’t seem immediately clear. Even after Walker returns, either of them could still have a role as the season continues.
Of the two, Dallas seems to be in the better spot after the stronger preseason he had. He looked more capable of being an early-down back against the Dallas Cowboys with his 13 carries for 73 yards, all of which were on first or second down. Most of his biggest moments from the preseason came during its finale in Dallas including his accumulation of 56 total yards and a touchdown in a single, 75-yard scoring drive for Seattle.
