Dearden Wood Campsite is tucked away in 10 acres of woodland, just outside the village of Edenfield
We've not really been blessed with the weather this summer holidays, it's felt more like autumn and winter than summer.
If you've always wanted to go camping and enjoy the outdoors then now is the time because there's a campsite in the Rossendale area that promises a magical experience for guests. .It has everything you could ever want from five campervan and motorhome bays to four tent bays and two bell tent glamping units. The site is small and family-run but it's perfect for a quick getaway and to enjoy the peace and quiet.
Seasoned campers can bring their own tents, caravans or motorhomes along, while those who are seeking a little bit of luxury can book one of the bell tents. Strewn with fairy lights, the tents contain a double bed along with two single camp beds for children. If you plan your stay right, you can even try Dearden Wood’s legendary pizza nights, which take place every Friday. A range of delicious wood-fired pizzas are served up between 5pm and 7pm, so you don’t have to worry about cooking and washing up. Non-campers are welcome to come along too .
