At the start of the water year, 40.9% of the state was classified as being in the two worst drought categories. Today that figure is down to 0%.in California is drastically improved for the upcoming dry season compared to the past few years. Compared to this time last year, the water levels in Shasta Lake and Lake Oroville are up by about 80%.
