.Cadillac compact EV crossover spied sharing design cues with Lyriq:
concept will be a hand-built, ultra-expensive flagship when it goes into production for 2025. Now we’re getting a glimpse at one of Cadillac’s smaller, more mainstream EVs, with spy photos showing the automaker testing a smaller crossover that will slot below the Lyriq.Overall, this prototype appears to share many design cues with its larger sibling.
The camouflage obscures most of the details, but we can spot vertical lighting at the corners on the front end, suggesting similar LED elements framing the grille like on the Lyriq. The rear end also appears to mimic the Lyriq with two-piece taillights—a vertical element runs up the D-pillar and while another vertical lightning unit sits below. The most interesting design element is a vertical center-mounted brake light that appears to sprout as fin from the middle of the rear windshield.
