Two men are being hunted by police following the incident last month
Lancashire Constabulary said the incident happened at the Morrisons store in Ormskirk. Two men gained access to the warehouse and attempted to steal alcohol worth £1160.24.
The incident happened at around 7.20pm on Tuesday, August 29. Officers have now released CCTV images of two men they want to identify as part of their investigation and are appealing for help from members of the public.In a statement on the Ormskirk and Rural West Lancs Police Facebook page, a force spokesperson said: "Do you recognise these men?
"We would like to speak to them in connection with an attempted burglary in Ormskirk. We were called on Tuesday, August 29 to reports of an attempted burglary at around 7.20pm in Morrisons, Ormskirk. "Two men had gained access to the warehouse and attempted to steal alcohol worth £1160.24. If you recognise them, call 101 quoting log 1373 of August 29."
