The Browns' Week 5 bye will give them a chance to reassess and get heathy, but also means they have to wait longer to wash the bad taste from last week's Ravens loss out of their mouths.

“Honestly really after losing a game like that, I would rather be able to play next week, but we’re going to take the bye week as a positive,” Newsome said after the loss Sunday. “We’re going to find a way to fix some of the stuff and regroup.”The Browns are one of four teams, along with the Chargers, Buccaneers, and Seahawks with a Week 5 bye -- the earliest possible bye week you can have in an NFL schedule.

Of course, there’s Deshaun Watson’s injured throwing shoulder kept him from playing against the Ravens. Myles Garrett left the game with a walking boot on his left foot after getting rolled up on. Starting center Ethan Pocic is considered day-to-day with chest and ankle injuries and had to leave the game twice against Baltimore.

“Just time to reset like you said, get our priorities straight,” Garrett said. “We’re out of sorts and we didn’t execute how we should have, how we prepared all week. It’s not what we displayed today, and we know we just got to continue to work on putting it all on the field and putting it all together when the time calls.”
