Brookfield police have launched a manhunt after a stabbing in the 4400-block of Madison Avenue, prompting a brief lockdown at 2 schools.
BROOKFIELD, Ill. -- Brookfield schools were on lockdown as police search for a stabbing suspect, village public safety officials said.
Multiple squad cars blocked off the street at the intersection of Madison and Congress Park, near the scene of the stabbing which appears to have happened at a residence.
