The British Heart Foundation have said ultra-processed food raises risk of heart disease, heart attack and strokesignificantly raises the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, heart attacks and strokes, according to the British Heart Foundation.

Two studies were presented this weekend at the European Society of Cardiology Congress in Amsterdam addressing ultra-processed foods. The first study, which tracked 10,000 Australian women for 15 years, found that those with the highest proportion of ultra-processed food in their diet were 39 per cent more likely to develop high blood pressure than those with the lowest.
