Massachusetts father Brian Walshe was indicted for the murder of his missing wife Ana, prosecutors announced Thursday.
A Norfolk County grand jury indicted Walshe for first-degree murder, obstruction of justice, and other charges, the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office said, according to reports.
He was charged with murder in mid-January. Before that murder charge, he was already in custody over charges of hindering the police probe into his wife. Prosecutors alleged that Walshe looked up online how to cut up and dispose of a body on Jan. 1 and the ensuing days. Her body has never been found. Investigators found surveillance video of a man that looked like Walshe dumping what appeared to be heavy trash bags in a dumpster at an apartment complex in a town near Cohasset. He previously told police he last saw his wife alive in the early hours of New Year’s Day when he claimed she took off for a “work emergency.”
She was reported missing on Jan. 4 by her employer based in DC where she often commuted during the week for work.
