When news broke that Washington Commanders rookie running back Brian Robinson Jr. had suffered gunshot wounds in a robbery attempt, nobody could have expected to see him back on the field this season.
Robinson wasn't exactly going through a full team workout, but it doesn't take anything away from a remarkable comeback.to the side at practice. That seemed like an aggressive timeline, but the reports about Robinson have been optimistic since he was shot.
Robinson looked good in the preseason and seemed to be tracking toward a big role in Washington's offense. That obviously had to be paused when Robinson was shot. But with Robinson already doing drills to the side at practice, maybe he will be back in just a few weeks.
