Brenda Edwards returned to accounting job during cancer battle: 'I needed to work'
Loose Women presenter Brenda Edwards has revealed she took back her old job in accounting during the coronavirus pandemic and her cancer battle in 2016 because she had a "mortgage to pay".
After Hayley asked: "Would you?" Brenda replied: "Yes, I have done. I did it in the pandemic and I did it when I was going through my breast cancer because I needed to work."Brenda continued to reflect on her previous career, saying she would go back to her role tomorrow if she needed to. Brenda has been cancer-free for six years this year, but the star was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2015, as she took part in the stage production of Hairspray.
"Tracey Turnblad, she was holding my hand and in tears and I was like: 'Babe, I can't sing and cry you need to stop this, please stop it!'"
