Supermarkets are sitting ducks for climate activists. The UK’s big four retailers, which also include Tesco, Walmart-owned Asda and WM Morrison, wrap goods in needless plastic, power inefficient buildings with polluting air conditioners and in some cases sell diesel from forecourts.
