"Much loved husband, father, brother, band mate and friend Mark Sheehan passed away today in hospital after a brief illness," the band's brief statement read.The Irish band have sold millions of records around the world with huge hits including Man Who Can't Be Moved, Superheroes and Hall of Fame. Sheehan had played in the band MyTown before joining The Script, along with the band's frontman Danny O'Donoghue.Condolences and tributes from fans have been pouring in from fans devastated by the news.
