After Pass and Benkert combined to do just enough to lift San Antonio to last week’s 15-9 win against Arlington that kept the Brahmas’ playoff hopes alive, Ward has a slightly easier choice as the team travels to face the Vegas Vipers at 2 p.m. Saturday. Pass “left some plays on the field” last week, Ward said, finishing 8-of-14 passing for 57 yards while rushing four times for 21 yards.
“The team responds to whatever we need to do,” running back Jacques Patrick said. “Whether it’s Jawon, Kurt or Jack, it doesn’t really matter. We just go out there and play, and try to get a W.”
