Kelly said: "After around 45 minutes, we hadn't been greeted by the party host to discuss anything, so we went to speak to the manager who advised food was ready and being brought out as we speak, so we asked which one was gluten free.
She said: "I'm just really disappointed that this happened because having a coeliac child, I just feel like you always have to be prepared and this time, we were over prepared and there was nothing we could do to prevent that situation because it was in the hands of somebody telling us false information.
"Brodie was diagnosed at the age the age of three after three brutal years of hospital tests. He had countless blood tests. He was admitted to the hospital for weeks at a time as he was so ill. At the age of one, he had his first biopsy at Leeds Hospital. He then had a barium swallow and scans, he had ultrasounds.
"From when we arrived, if he'd have just checked the booking he'd have had an hour to run out and get a gluten free pizza. We would never have been any the wiser. There were so many failed opportunities to fix the situation."
