Tributes have been paid to a five-year-old boy who was killed in a bush crash in Glasgow.died after the incident on Calder Street last Tuesday at around 5.40pm.A nine-year-old girl also involved in the collision was taken to hospital for treatment after sustaining ‘serious injuries’.
Police immediately launched an investigation and closed the road for several hours, re-opening it shortly before midnight. Teddy bears and flowers have been left to Ayan at Holy Cross Primary School on Calder Street, close to the scene of the crash.One tribute read: ‘To the Khan family: my deepest condolences during this tragic time for your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.’
A bunch of flowers, labelled as a tribute from staff and pupils at Holy Cross Primary School, was inscribed: ‘Praying for Ayan.’ Another mourner left a stuffed toy dog tied to a lamppost with a bouquet of flowers.
