A woman has been arrested following the incident in Bolton
A three-year-old boy has suffered a 'life-changing' injury after falling from a window at a property in Bolton. It happened at an address on Balcary Grove in the Heaton area of the town at around 10:45pm on Wednesday .
It is believed the child fell from an upstairs bedroom window, Greater Manchester Police said in a statement. He was taken to hospital with a broken leg they said. The force described the injury as 'life-changing but not life-threatening.' "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances," they added.A woman in her 20s was arrested on suspicion of child neglect. She has since been released under investigation.
