Prime Minister Boris Johnson visits Ukrainian troops being trained by British Armed Forces in North Yorkshire. , Boris Johnson has now taken part in military training exercises for Ukrainian forces, handling weapons and throwing a grenade.
In a series of photos released by 10 Downing Street, shot by Mr Johnson’s taxpayer-funded photographer, he was seen throwing a grenade, handling weaponry and talking to the soldiers. In footage on social media, he said: “I just want you to know that the people of the United Kingdom support the people of Ukraine and support you in your fight.Mr Johnson, who resigned as Tory leader earlier this month, said he had been meeting with some of the 400 Ukrainian troops currently undergoing training in the UK as part of a “huge commitment” the UK government made to train forces.
