Bojangles, the southern fast-food chain known for its fried chicken and made-from-scratch biscuits, is coming to the far West Side.
shows that Bojangles is looking to build a restaurant at 8610 Potranco Road near Loop 410 on the far West Side.
The new 3,000-square-foot building is estimated to cost $1 million with construction set to start Dec. 1.The fast food chain, which is found primarily in southeastern states like North Carolina, Alabama and Georgia, first announced a Texas expansion in June 2021 with locations in Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth.
In January, the chain announced it was aiming to establish 100 restaurants in Texas between Austin, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth in the next seven to 10 years. There are currently around 800 Bojangles' restaurants in 14 states. Bojangles is partnering with San Antonio-based Copacetic Group LLC to open locations in the Alamo City.
