The body of a man who was fatally shot in Camden last week was discovered by police Wednesday in Philadelphia, authorities said.
Detectives determined that Jody Spence, 31, of Camden, was fatally shot shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 6 on the 800 block of Princess Avenue in Camden, according to a statement from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office. However, his body was not found until Wednesday when detectives from the office’s homicide unit were contacted by thewith information that Spence’s body had been located at the 400 block of North 5th Street in the city, investigators said. Spence was pronounced dead at 3:36 p.m. that day.
