Authorities say a 27-foot boat, operated by Louis Deritis, collided with a a 44-foot boat north of Ocean Bay Park.His wife, Renee, was found by rescue divers in the cabin of the boat. The 50-year-old was then pronounced dead, authorities said.
The operator of the other boat, 61-year-old Ferdinand Caravousanos, was not injured. The passengers on that boat were also not injured.
