Ramos said that they always knew they would gradually get the show to a place where Eliza realised her feelings for Timmy, but then had to focus on how Timmy and his storyline worked into that. "I think we backed into him seeing it and misinterpreting it. We went with how far we wanted it to go if Eliza was going to get any of it out in that solar storm moment where chaos is ensuing," Ramos said."And I think in her head, it’s like: 'If I don’t say this right now, I might not say it.
Season one's final scene sees Hannah watching footage of Eliza turning down Aaron and telling him she has feelings for Timmy, so the truth finally comes out. But a second season of the show hasn't been officially renewed, so it's unclear what is going to happen. Ramos, however, said that she and executive producer Jackie Clarke have some"loose ideas" about a potential second season.
