share their relationship with fans in the video for the country singer’s heartfelt new single “Nobody But You.”
The power ballad, written by Ross Copperman, Shane McAnally, Josh Osborne and Tommy Lee James, has Shelton singing of how he doesn’t want to look back in 30 years and find out who Stefani gets married to. “When you love someone they say set ‘em free/ But that ain’t gonna work for me,” the couple sing.
In the three-minute clip, the couple is seen hanging by the ocean and on the couch, enjoying a laidback dinner, sharing the stage together, and driving in the country. “Nobody But You” is featured on Shelton’s latest albumand is the couple’s third collaboration together. In 2016, the pair duetted on “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” and followed suit in 2017 with feel-good holiday track “You Make It Feel Like Christmas.", so they were there doing some cross-promotion.
"Then one day I was driving with Gwen and I said, 'Hey let’s listen to that song from Shane, because Scott sent it to me too – it must be pretty incredible.' When I heard it, I was just floored. I realized how important that song was for me and where I am in my life right now. I just think it’s magical. I literally think it’s important of a song as I’ve ever recorded.”The video for “Nobody But You” is below.
