Blackpool Illuminations are 'tatty', 'old' and have 'lost their sparkle' according to TripAdvisor
The world famous Blackpool Illuminations have been pulling crowds to the seaside town ever since their first switch-on in 1879.

This year it looks like a job lot of tube lighting was bought and has been used to fill the prom. The plaques at the north end are tatty and the character, variety and vibrancy that once enticed visitors has gone. Sad to see its fall."
