“It was more tricky when people would mention it and I just had to pretend like: 'Oh, yeah, I've heard of it. Whatever.' And not to say it. Which felt like I'm almost lying,” she said. “But that was the deal. I couldn't really say. I didn't even tell my mother. “I think people expected [Taskmaster] to be a male, [but] of course, it's a gender swap,” she added. “It shouldn't be about gender, it should be about how good you are. And guess what? When she's in that suit, she's good at what she does.”
