Bicyclist injured in Chula Vista hit-and-run crash [Breaking]
A bicyclist in his 60s was injured in a hit-and-run crash in Chula Vista late Monday morning, police said.
The man was riding north on Bay Boulevard near Palomar Street just before 11 a.m. when a vehicle headed in the same direction struck him from behind, police said.The bicyclist fell off the bike and suffered injuries believed to be minor, police said. He was taken to a hospital for an evaluation.The car — which witnesses described as a white sedan or SUV — was last seen going south on nearby Interstate 5. No further information was immediately available.
